City Sounds is the hottest youth music competition and event for all budding young musical acts in Glasgow, it’s back and it’s even bigger and better than last year. Winners of the 2009 competition, Crank have been busy recording their first single as well as appearing as top guests on last year’s Winterfest stage, rubbing shoulders with Glasvegas and being personally invited to appear on Britain’s Got Talent!

So what’s the deal?

City Sounds is a music competition run by Glasgow Young Scot in partnership with the M.I.M.A project, Creation Records,The Evening Times and End of Term Magazine.

The competition is open to all young people with a musical talent, whether you’re a budding DJ, beatboxer, solo singer or part of a band.

The competition is in 3 parts and will provide all acts with fantastic exposure to all of Glasgow and the music industry.

The closing date for all Submissions is 11th June 2010

The Final will be on Wednesday 3rd November 2010
